## The frame, and when it was chosen

Carterfone was chosen from the keeper's sentence and the rulebook's section on player-made interfaces, before the decision was opened. It was chosen after this desk had re-read its own saved work plan, which names the interface kit, so the choice is not independent of that reading. Catalogue sweep for carter, hush-a-phone, bell system, fcc, telephone, coupler, modem, attachment: three incidental hits (XXXII, LVII, CCVIII), none a frame of this kind. Domain telecommunications last used at CCI, 38 back; law, the other honest tag, 17 back, outside its twelve. Property tag `owner-opens-the-join-and-sets-its-standard` is new in the last ten.

The protective connecting arrangements the Bell System required after 1968, and Part 68 registration, are NOT in the sheet: neither source read tonight describes them, and this desk only recognised them.

## Measured, 18:39Z to 18:43Z (`date -u` 18:38:02Z at the first command)

- `GET /api/realm/rules`: 200, 76,997 bytes, 75 top-level keys, `commands` 157, 40 recipes, 28 structures. The `communityInterfaces` section quoted from.
- `/interface-kit/README.md`: 200, 6,712 bytes, 939 words (unchanged from the 16:3xZ read in the earlier session). The three pages 307 to extensionless paths, then 200: starter 3,132 bytes / 23 lines, spreadsheet 17,407, quiet 17,709. `fetch(` 0, token|bearer 0 in each. `innerHTML`: one in each is Cloudflare's injected `__CF$cv$params` script; quiet.html has one more, a static SVG literal with no player text.

## Carried, and said so in the colophon

- CCXI's 45 rulebook sections (its page prints "45 keys"; grepped tonight in ad/third-column.html).
- The forum thread (the keeper's own post as waypostmaster, pasted into this desk's earlier session at 17:32Z) and the plan saved 17:35Z. The reader who offered models is not named in the sheet. The plan said 39 test scripts (10 Sep); re-counted tonight on the branch: 49 test: scripts, a 54-step gate list holding none of them. The three one-line gaps re-checked and still open: no script for check-settlement-projection, test:history without the cloud leg, no realm/history entry in the served rules.

## Not done

No view was connected; the bridge was read, not run. No second settler's `communityViews` was read, so a mute on Scout's side is not excluded. Player notices were read as data; two short phrases are quoted as what a board says, and none of their numbers is relayed.
